GERMANY CIRCA 1760: Depicts all of Germany and most of Central Europe. An excellent base map and an attractive display piece.

TWO VIEWS OF GERMANY - 1766, 1780: (two maps each 11" x 17") The earlier map shows major cities and towns. Both the internal and external borders of Germany are well-defined. The second map is an example of 18th century "scientific" mapmaking, rich in detail.

A NEW MAP OF GERMANY DIVIDED INTO ITS CIRCLE - 1805: A companion to the map above and useful for sorting out Germany's internal boundaries.

THE CIRCLE OF THE LOWER RHINE - 1789: (23" x 29") This map shows the area along the northern Rhine, east of Luxembourg and Lorraine, north of Baden and Wurttemburg and west of Fulda and Wurzburg. The many principalities, small states and districts on both banks of the Rhine are identified.

THE CIRCLE OF THE UPPER RHINE - 1786: (23" x 29") This map Depicts the Rhine area from Coblentz to Carlsruhe. An inset map shows the Rhine valley from Carlsruhe south to Basel. The many jurisdictions in this Palatine region are identified, with the map extending as far east as Eisenach.

THE RHINE FROM BODENSEE TO KOLN - 1845: Shows Baden, Wurttemberg and the Rhine valley as far east as Augsburg. Identifies a profusion of villages.

FRANCONIA - 1799: This map by John Cary shows the area west north west of Bavaria and east of Aschaffenburg and the Neckar River bounded on the north by Upper Saxony and on the south by Swabia.

THE VALLEY OF THE RHINE - 1879: (two maps on four 11" x 17" sheets) Showing an area about 5 miles on either side of the river, this map set locates hundreds of small villages, local mills and roads between the Bingen/Rudesheim area and Bonn. The set consists of two pairs of overlapping sheets, which can be dissected and mounted to make two large adjoining 11" X 32" maps.

THE NORTHERN RHINE VALLEY - 1879: (11" x 17") This map details the area from Bonn to the border, with inset maps of the Westphalian and Cologne-Dusseldorf-Aachen railway system.
